You do have to hand it to betting sites such as Betfred, for when it comes to giving their golf betting customers the maximum choice and of course value, they always score top marks.
In the coming days it will of course be the BMW Championship PGA Tour that will be beginning, and that annual tournament is held over at the impressive yet very challenging course at the Aronimink Golf Club, and the golfers taking part in it will be all vying to bag a share of the $9,000,000 prize purse.
You do have just enough time to study the form of each golfer and then place you bets, as the tournament doesn’t start until tomorrow, and does go on until the 9th of this month. Betfred are offering three group betting markets and as such let me now give you something on an insight into which golfers you can back to top each of those groups and their associated odds too.
Group A is the one in which Dustin Johnson at 3/1 is looking like the punters pal, and there is certainly lots of value to be had by backing him now to win that group at those odds, however you can also back Justin Thomas and Justin Rose at 10/3 and also place a bet on either Brooks Koepka at 7/2 and Bryson DeChambeau at 4/1 too.
Big Named Golfers Playing in Group B
It is going to take some working out if you fancy trying to select the golfer in Group B that will come out on top for with such big named golfers such as Rory McIlroy at 3/1 and both Tiger Woods and Jason Day at 7/2 in that group it will be a hard fought for contest for sure.
As for the other two golfers in Group B, well they are underdogs to come out on top, but only just and they are Rickie Fowler at 18/5 and also Francesco Molinari at 4/1. Who to be fair will need everything to drop and fall into place if they are to come out on top!
Have a Punt on Group C
Moving over to the final group that of course being Group C it was be worth following the smart money if you do fancy having a punt on it, and if that is something you are willing to do the current favourites to win Group C and the two golfers that are attracting the most support is Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama at 3/1.
Tony Finau at 7/2 looks a very reasonable punt too, however you will of course be taking some chances if you choose to bet on the other two golfers in Group C those being Jon Rahm and Tommy Fleetwood at 4/1, as it is open to debate as to whether either of them really have what it takes to beat those much more experienced and talented players that are ahead of them in the Group C BMW Championship betting market!
