Racing fans are going to be glued to their TV set this afternoon watching the Glorious Goodwood meeting, and much like the other days of this major race meeting there are plenty of horses running, many of which have been in training to win their respective races for months.
With that in mind I shall quickly give you a few pointers as to just which horses are looking like they have an outstanding chance of winning today, and I will also be letting you know where you are going to be able secure the best odds when backing those horses too.
As for which horse looks like it should easily win the Matchbook Best Value Exchange Handicap which is the very first race today at Glorious Goodwood race meeting, which will be being run at 1:50, it is Al Jellaby that has to be worth a bet, much more so at the Bruce Betting site are offering odds of 5/1 on their early betting market!
In fact the second race of the day over at Goodwood is the 2:25 race, and if you do fancy backing a runner in the Qatar Lillie Langtry Stakes as that race Is now known, then there is plenty of value waiting to be mopped up on the current favourite Pilaster, once again Bruce betting are offering by far and away the best odds on that race and you can secure odds of 11/4 on that horse if you are quick!
Land Force Should win the Qatar Richmond Stakes
You will be best advised to cast any eye over the 3:00 Goodwood Qatar Richmond Stakes race, for when you do you will probably be of the mind that Land Force is going to win that race, and there is a lot to like about its current early odds of 9/2 available at Bruce Betting!
As far as what is going to come out on top in the 3:35 Goodwood Qatar Nassau Stakes race, well if you keep the faith with Urban Fox which does look like the best horse in that race and secure the 11/4 early prices, you could be laughing all the way to the ban this afternoon!
Back Indian Viceroy in the Telegraph Nursery Handicap
Three other races are going to be available later on in the day at this race meeting and the very next race of the day is the 4:10 Goodwood Telegraph Nursery Handicap in which I can see Indian Viceroy winning it by a fair few lengths.
In fact, in the next race this afternoon at the Glorious Goodwood race meeting that being the long awaited 4:45 Goodwood Markel Insurance British EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes, the smart money will be going on Mehdaayih.
The 5:20 Goodwood Tatler Handicap race looks like a pin stickers type of race, however on the balance of form and what we know about each of the runners in that race I think one that should give you a very good run for your money is Lord Riddiford!
