If you still haven’t placed a bet on this year’s BMW PGA Championship, then you have left it a bit late in the day to do so for we are now into day three of the content and there isn’t much time left for you to get a bet on.
However, having said that though you are going to find that each of our listed sportsbooks including Bruce Betting has a live and in-play betting market currently on offer that is going to allow you to place your bets as the tournament is in play, so you can still get a bet on if you do not leave it too late.
It is Rory McIlroy that is looking likely to be the winner of this major golf tournament, and if you have been watching it and fancy his chances of winning then the current odds of 4/7 may seem appealing.
Keep in mind though that he isn’t necessarily going to win as all the other golfers still have a chance of winning, and below I am going to be looking at some of the other entrants in the BMW PGA Championship that could suddenly find their very best form and win the title and the trophy.
But at the end of the day it will be your hard-earned cash you will be betting with, so I will leave the decision of who you do decide to win to you but do bet wisely!
Get Paid Out 1/4 the Odds at Three Places Each Way
If we take Rory McIlroy out of the betting, and concentrate on the each-way betting market, then that is where you are most likely to find some value.
For with odds on one quarter the win odds if you pick a golfer to finish in the top three positions you will get much better value, if you manage to pick a golfer with high odds that does finish in the top three of course!
But who are the golfers that are more than likely going to finish in the top three, well one player I do like the look of who undoubtedly has excellent skills is Tommy Fleetwood and with odds of 8/1, an each-way bet on him may just be worth placing!
Alexander Noren is currently the third favourite to win and even if he doesn’t but gets placed then an each-way bet on him will produce a profit for his odds are 12/1.
I could List several other golfers that do have a very fair and reasonable chance of ending up in the top three positions, but two I think have the best chances from those that I have not so far mentioned are Francesco Molinari at 18/1 and Branden Grace who is a top-level player when playing to his best form and he is available at odds of 20/1!
Rank Outsiders to win the BMW PGA Championship
There are always going to be loser in any major golf tournament and with odds for example on Shane Lowry of 100/1 it is hard to see him finishing anywhere high up on the leader board at the end of this tournament, so do not be too tempted to bet on him even each-way!
Lee Westwood Lee can every now and then have some amazing luck as he is playing, however regarding this tournament not many bookies think he has any chance of winning and as such have pencilled him up on their betting markets with odds of 125/1.
Paul Casey is on other golfer that you could be tempted to bet on purely down to his odds of winning, for he is currently available at most betting sites at odds as high as 150/1, but his chances of winning are slim, so do not expected to collect any winnings if you do choose to bet on him!
If you are going to have a speculate bet on any golfers as huge odds then four to consider are Ryan Fox at 200/1, Alexander Bjork 250/1, Matthew Southgate at 500/1 and if for whatever reason you cannot resist betting on Richard Wallis then do not take odds any shorter than 750/1 on him winning!
