You probably enjoy watching all kinds of sports, much more so if you are a sports bettor, for that way you can enjoy the game and know that if the way it ends is how you had predicted you will be celebrating just like the team you have bet on will be.
Regarding Cricket in particular, there are loads of ways that you can choose to bet on individual matches, leagues and tournaments, however you will of course need to know what those betting opportunities are.
With that thought at the forefront of your mind, today I am going to be looking at some Twenty20 events that are lined up and scheduled to be played in the very near future, and I am also going to be looking at the odds on the early betting markets on each of the teams playing in those events.
As such, let me start with the Twenty20 Big Bash, and let you know what the current odds are on the Big Bash 2018/19 outright betting markets.
At this very early stage of the game it is the Perth Scorchers at 3/1 who have been chosen as the likely favourites to win it, closely followed by the Adelaide Strikers at 4/1 and both Brisbane Heat and the Melbourne Renegades at 9/2.
If you fancy betting on the Hobart Hurricanes and the Sydney Sixers and think either two teams will make their way to the final and win it, then their odds are both 6/1.
Bet on the ICC World Twenty20 2020
Whether you are prepared to bet so far in advance of the ICC World Twenty20 2020 event is up to you, but there may be a chance you do fancy having something of a long-term interest in that much anticipated event.
Therefore, the teams involved in it and their respective odds are, Australia who are the semi firm favourite at odds of 5/2 which India already being pencilled in as second favourites, and in my opinion their odds of 7/2 are quite attractive.
England do have some supporters in the betting markets even at this very early stage and they are 11/2 to win this event outright. For those of you who fancy the likes of South Africa and the New Zealand you can get odds on each of those two teams winning at odds of 6/1.
It does appear that the West Indies are currently loveless in the betting markets for the odds you can quite easily get on them winning are 8/1.
However, do remember that there are going to be plenty of additional betting opportunities on each single match played throughout the ICC World Twnety20 event in 2020 and as such as soon as the games are scheduled to start both ante post and then in-play betting markets will spring to life.
Bet Now on the NatWest T20 Blast
Let me finally move onto the Vitality T20 Blast 2018 outrigth betting market, and this is one on which you can bet each with, with the place part of such a bet being paid out at 0ne half the odds on the first two top placed finishers.
Which could be a value bet considering that the favourites to win are Nottinghamshire with odds of 6/1, so if that team is one you wish to bet on your will get 3 to 1 if they are placed and do not come first by betting them each-way!
However, any of the other teams may just win and with that in mind let me now give you some ideas on the rest of the team’s odds starting with Sussex who are currently pencilled in as the second favourite with odds of 13/2.
Yorkshire do always play up to their best form and that could mean you fancy placing a bet on them and who can blame you for doing so right now as their outright winner odds for this event are very juicy it does have to be said at 8/1!
However, they are not the only team at 8/1 for you can get those odds on Surrey, Hampshire and the Birmingham Bears too!
Middlesex and Essex are currently 12/1 and you can get 14/1 on Lancashire, Northamptonshire Somerset and Glamorgan. If you fancy betting on any of the other teams not yet mentioned, then they are 16/1 bar those mentions with the 33/1 outsider to win being Leicestershire!
