On the 1st of June 2019 one of the major flat races of the UK racing calendar will be being running, and that is of course the Derby, which as always is going to be held over at the Epson racecourse.
Now that race is of course months away, but the savviest punters are always going to find some high valued betting odds on offer on the horses that are expected to run in it if they back them well in advance of the race.
That is where it will often pay dividends for you to study the ante post betting odds that are currently available on the Derby at betting sites such as BetSid, for they offer you the option of betting on any horse they have listed to win the race outright or if you prefer you can also back any runner each-way instead.
As for the terms you will get on any each-way bets placed on the Derby at BetSid, well they pay out to three positions and offer one fifth of the win odds when you place such a bet in addition of course to the full odds you took on the win part of such a bet, so there is value to be had if you are prepared to place some long term best on that race at that betting site.
Too Darn Hot the Current Derby Favourite
On the ante post betting markets, you can often get a very good indication of just which horses are expected to run well if they do indeed take part in any race, and as such you may fancy backing he current favourite to win the Derby in 2019.
If that is the case then BetSid have chalked up Too Darn Hot as their current ante post favourite and they are offering some truly generous odds on 3/1 on it winning that race, which it may just do of course!
Other Horses and Odds Currently Available
Let me now take a look at some of the other runners that are available on the Derby ante post betting market at BetSid and enlighten you on their respective odds too.
Anthony Van Dyck is the current second favourite to win that race and the odds are certainly going to be very appealing to you if you do fancy that horses chances, as they are 12/1!
You can also back Quorto to win or each-way at odds of 14/1, Magna Grecia is a 16/1 shot, and there are currently three 20/1 shots those being Japan, Madhmoon and Line of Duty.
Mount Everest, Turgenev and Norway are very easy to back currently at odds of 25/1 and both Old Glory and Syndey Opera House are fairly friendless on the BetSid ante post betting market right now at odds of 33/1.
For those of you out there that fancy backing a couple of horses at some huge odds to win the Derby you will find both Mohawk and Waldstern are on offer at odds of 50/1 too!
