The next major greyhound race is of course the Coral Essex Vase, and there are plenty of heats to be run before the final race, and that does of course mean that there are still plenty of greyhounds that could end up winning it.
As Coral are of course the sponsors of that event, you will find they are currently offering some generous odds on each of the greyhounds that are still in the running to win it.
To be fair their ante post terms on the Coral Essex Vase are generous too for you are going to be able to get one quarter of the win odds via their each-way terms and they are paying out to three places too.
As for just which greyhounds are being backed early on that ante post betting market well it is Ridgedale Max that is currently heading that betting market at odds of 9/2 however both Droopys Gold and Sporting Dave are not without supporters and the odds on those two greyhounds are 5/1, making them joint second favourites.
Brigadier Bullet Attracting Support
I would also advise you to take a close eye at the form of Brigadier Bullet, for that greyhound has certainly been attracting a lot of support recently.
It was that long again it was easy to back at odds of 12/1, those odds soon got mopped up by very eager punters and the odds then dropped down to 10/1, however as the support has continued those odds have halved in value again and as such the best odds available at Coral are 5/1.
Other Greyhounds in With a Chance of Winning
Shotgun Bullet look like it has a fair chance of winning or getting placed in the final race this year and as for the odds you can get they are currently around the 11/2 mark, moving onto the next greyhound in the betting market that is Minnies Highway who to be fair is very easy to back at odds of 7/1!
Maysthistlecrack is a 10/1 shot and the odds do get much bigger on each of the other greyhounds, such as you being able to get 20/1 on both Barricane Carina and Romeo Mandate, and there are also a couple of 25/1 shots too and they are Prime Time and Pro Magic.
Itsur Mate is very easy to back right now at 33/1 and with odds of 50/1 currently on offer on Always A King it does appear that greyhound has little in any chance of winning this race this year or even getting placed in it.
The same could also be said for Bubbly Tempest and Headford Maurice along with also Millroad Susie, Swift Tarquin and White Horse Won for those are the rank outsiders all of whom are completely and utterly friendless in the betting n markets and are very, very easy to back at odds of 66/1, so I seriously doubt any of them are going to be making it through the heats!
