Tonight is the night when the final race of the Brighton Belle is being run over at the Brighton and Hove Greyhound Stadium, and that is of course a race that every greyhound trainer and owner will want to win each year, and over the years since the race first begun in 1975 there have bene plenty of unexpected winner.
The Brighton Belle greyhound race is sponsored by Coral and the race itself is run over the standard 515 metres track which for reference is a sand track.
I have been checking out each of our featured betting sites today to try and find the one that is offering by far and away the highest possible odds on each of the six greyhounds running in that final, and it is Paddy Power that currently is offering the best odds.
They are going to allow you to pick out any greyhound to win the race outright or will be offering you some rather generous each-way terms if you fancy backing a greyhound each-way. Those terms for reference will see the place part of an each-way bet being paid out as one quester of the win odds if your chosen greyhound finishes in first or second spot.
Donation Backed Down to 4/6
There has already been plenty of money coming in for Donation, in fact Paddy [Power initially had that greyhound on offer on their ante post betting market at odds of 7/4, but the volume of money being backed on that greyhound saw them dropping the odds down to 10/11 and then to 4/6.
Therefore, if you do fancy the chances of that now red-hot favourite to win the Brighton Belle you need to act quickly to ensure you can still get the 4/6 odds, as there is a very good chance the odds could drop even lower with any continued support!
Odds on the Other Five Greyhounds
Another greyhound that has been heavily backed on the ante post betting market over at the Paddy Power betting site is Ballymac Miscula who is now chalked up at odds of 5/2, which is quite remarkable when you discover it was on offer at odds of 7/1 at Paddy Power not that long ago!
As for the chance of Rackethall Jess, well if you think that greyhound does have a chance of winning you are certainly going to be tempted to make use of its current set of odds, which see it being offered at 7/1.
Dodgers Drum is friendless in the betting, and not even each-way sharks have any interest in that greyhound, so much so it is very easy to back currently at odds of 10/1!
Barricane Carina is another greyhound that will need something of a miracle for it to win this race, and as for just what odds you can currently secure on it winning, well those odds are 14/1. As for the rank outsider, well that is Cooly Bonita who current 25/1 win odds are there for the taking.
