Betting Opportunities on the Easy Anglian Derby

It is going to be something of a pin-stickers event, this year’s East Anglian Greyhound Derby, for there are plenty of greyhounds that are going to be taking their chances in it, any of them that are running are in with a chance of winning or making it through the heats to the final race.

If you are a fan of greyhound racing, then you will not need me to tell you that it is Monday evening that you will be able to watch and bet on the heats in this year’s East Anglian Greyhound Derby, and you are probably trying to work out where the value lays and which if any greyhound or greyhounds to back too.

Below I am going to be highlighting some greyhounds that if everything does fall into place are they are running in their respective heats, could see them progress thorough to the final race and possibly get placed or event win the East Anglian Greyhound Derby this year.

The odds I will be quoting by the way are available on the Bruce Betting site ante post betting market, but be aware that they are subject to change at any time so to secure those odds listed you will need to at fairly quickly!

Most Likely Winners

One betting strategy that I do know that many punters have in place when betting on greyhound races, is to stick to the favourites, and this year’s favourite to win the East Anglian Greyhound Derby  is no other than King Elvis at 7/2.

However, do not be in too much of a rush to back that greyhound until you have studied the recent form of Kilmore Lemon at 5/1, Droopys Steel at 6/1, Dog Mac Arthure at 8/1 for it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise or a major upset to see any of those three other greyhounds come out on top this year!

Bet to Win or Each-Way

Any of the greyhounds listed above are worth backing to win, but at a quarter of the win odds being paid by Bruce Betting on any of the four placed greyhounds in this derby then you should possibly consider betting one on or more of them each-way.

If you want to try and pick out some greyhounds with much higher odds available to help you get some fairly decent each-way winning pay-outs then consider backing the likes of Affane Party at 10/1, Dorotas Del Mar at 16/1 or even go for gold and a huge potential winning pay-out by backing Bubbly Turbo at 20/1 or even Jazz Prince at 33/1!

I think you can safely discount any of the 66/1 shots from either winning or getting placed and for reference they are Oh Nonono, Cookie Crossan along with greyhounds such as Reset, Going Forward and  Headford Maurice.

In fact, the greyhounds that ate available at 100/1 on the Bruce Betting ante post betting market have virtually no chance of winning either and those are Security, Collswood Hawk and Exiles Gift too.
