It is of course the start of the Royal Ascot meeting on Tuesday, and you are going to be spoilt for choice regarding horses and races to bet on, so today I am going to be looking at all of the major races held that day and pointing you towards the horses that have taken the most money in the betting markets.
The Queen Anne Stakes is going to be the very first race you can bet on and having attracted a huge amount of money so far on the ante post betting markets, confidence is strong for Rhododendron who odds have dropped dramatically over the last few days and the best you can hope for is 11/4
If there is one horse that is likely to follow that one home it is Benbatl, who does have slightly better odds of 5/1 attached to it, so it may be one to consider placing an each-way bet on!
Coventry Stakes and the St James Palace Stakes Races
Value does appear not to be in abundance in the next race being held at Royal Ascot this year in the Coventry Stakes race, for Sergei Prokofiev at 2/1 does look like it has been trained to win that race, but there may be flip flopping favourites as the time of the race gets closer for Calyx at odds of 5/2 is one horse many punter think has a good chance of turning over the current favourite!
Moving onto the St James Palace Stakes race, I will be having a few bob on Without Parole at 11/4 and a saver bet on Romanised at 5/1, as it is very hard to see any other horse being likely to get their heads up in front!
Kings Stand Stakes and the Ascot Stakes Races
There will be plenty of money sloshing around the betting markets during the course of the Royal Ascot meeting and with that in mind if you do fancy betting on the King Stand Stakes race and fancy betting on one of the tow favourites those being Lady Aurelia currently at 2/1 and Battaash currently at 5/2, then please do shop around as there will be a few betting sites that may be offering you much higher odds that those two quoted!
In the Ascot Stakes race the most likely winner is Stratum on whom you can currently bag odds of 7/2 and if doing a straight forecast bet I would pencil is Coeur De Lion who is 7/1 to follow that horse home!
In the last race of the day that being the Wolferton stakes it is hard to separate Laraaib at 11/2 and Mirage Dancer at 6/1, but make no mistake about it the winner should come in at better odds than any other favourite of the day as this meeting, so this is certainly the value race of the day!
