Boxing Day is of course when the King George VI Chase is being run, and weather permitting that is going to be the feature race of the day, and if you fancy watching it on TV it will be broadcast as part of that day’s ITV Racing coverage at 15:05.
As for just which horse is attracting the early money on the ante post betting markets at sites such as Quinnbet, well that is Might Bite who does look like a rock solid bet right now at 2/1.
If you do fancy taking advantage of those odds, or any of the other odds on the remainder of the field at Quinnbet, then keep in mind they are going one fifth the win odds to three places if you fancy backing any horses each-way.
When it comes to locking in the very best each-way value you should be backing horses such as Waiting Patiently at 6/1 or possibly have a punt on Native River at 8/1, however there are plenty of other horses that could run into a place including both of the two current 12/1 shots, those being Footpad and Altior!
Road to Respect worth a Punt?
Having studied the form and the makeup of this year’s King George VI Chase, I am of the mind that it could be a race that will suit Road to Respect, and that horse is certainly worth backing early if you too fancy its chances.
Quinnbet are offering punters odds of 14/1 on that horse, and with their generous each-way betting terms it is a horses that I will be placed a few bob on for sure!
King George VI Chase Outsiders
A case could be made for any of the outsiders and currently there are two 16/1 shots those being both Politologue and Bellshill, three 20/1 shots those horses being Top Notch, Al Boum Photo and Shattered Love at 20/1.
As for 25/1 shots, well there are plenty of them including Bristol De Mai, Clan Des Obeaux, Disko, Terrefort, Thistlecrack, Coneygree, Frodon, Kemboy and Snow Falcon.
The chances of any of the other horses winning this race, or for that matter getting placed are low, however it is of course up to you whether you fancy backing any of them or not, and at odds of 33/1 you will find Black Corton, Tea For Two, Willoughby Court, Don Poli, Saint Calvados and Total Recall .
Double Shuffle, Mister Whitaker and Outlander are the 40/1 shots, at 66/1 you have both Benatar and Cyrname and as for the two rank outsider, they are Royal Regatta and Sizing Tennessee and as for just what odds you are going to be able to secure on both of them they are 100/1!
However, you will probably be much better off placing a bet on the outsiders at a betting exchange such as the one available at Betfair, for you will certainly get offered some much higher odds than those listed up above when you set about doing so!
